Day 1:  Arrive at PORT BLAIR (Andamans)

You arrive at Port Blair by flight (morning/afternoon). We shall transport you to your respective hotel, where all the other team shall meet. Post lunch, our resource person shall introduce you with the tour itinerary and major events in the programme.  We shall do scenic Marine Drive to Corbyn’s Cove Beach (a coconut palm fringed beach) which 9 km from main town, followed by evening Sound and Light Show at Cellular Jail (wherein the saga of the Indian freedom struggle is brought alive). Dinner and rest. Stay at Port Blair.

Day 2:  Port Blair to Baratang Island to Diglipur Island

We shall start early morning around (3 am) for Baratang Island (110Kms).

The Journey:

Journey from Port Blair to Baratang involves crossing through brackish water creeks onboard vehicle ferries; passing through one of the last Indian National Highways in the dense equatorial forests, crossing the dwelling place of the most primitive aboriginal tribal community called Jarawa (Jarawa Reserve Forest) in a guided convey system (A restricted zone, getting down from the vehicle and Photography is strictly prohibited).

Baratang Island: A geological laboratory in action, blessed with Limestone Caves & Mud Volcanos. We tour upto the Limestone Caves on a speed boat 30 minutes (by sea) through creeks lined by mangrove forest on either sides and by road to a small chain of Mud Volcanos. Lunch at Baratang, then proceeds to Diglipur Island via Mayabunder Island. En-route we halt at the Karmatang Beach + reach Diglipur Island late evening + Check-in your hotel + Dinner. Stay at Diglipur.

Day 3: Diglipur - ROSS & SMITH ISLAND (Snorkeling) + Turtle nesting 

Post breakfast start the tour to Ross & Smith Islands(Special forest permits are required and shall be provided with)

Ross & Smith Islands : Rarerest of rare island formations. During the high tide, these two islands separates from each other and during the low tide one can walk the sandy beach connecting these two islands. You can spends quality time, snorkel at Ross & Smith Islands. Packed lunch at the island. Late evening we visit Kalipur beach. 

Turtle Nesting: Diglipur Islands’s Kalipur beach is an ideal turtle Nesting Grounds and is the only beach in the world, where four species of Sea Turtles, Olive Ridley, Leather Back, Hawks Bill and Green Turtle call their home.

We shall be on a guided tour exploring turtles beaching on a star studded night. This activity is slow pace and is a post dinner late night activity. (Might spread out through nights as per reports of turtle sightings).

Day 4: Diglipur- Saddle Peak National Park (hike 732 meters the highest peak in Andaman and Nicobar Islands)

We design our day as per the sun/rain that day. Hike the lush evergreen bio- diverse paradise which is home to 13 species of indigenous birds, 36 indigenous species of insects, and 6 species of indigenous trees. Kalpong is the only river of Andaman Islands which flows through it, and it has the very first hydroelectric project of the islands.

The climb is steep 8kms long start along the beach and then cuts through different types of jungle up to the top. There are three viewpoints and the middle one is the best to get a bird’s eye view of the islands nearby. Packed Lunch + Back later afternoon + dinner + rest.

Day 5: Diglipur- Ram Nagar (Alfred Caves) + Turtle nesting

Post breakfast, we go on a hike to Alfred Caves. Mystical connected and Separated series of 22 unexplored caves have baffled many an explorer. These Caves are amongst the least explored and understood places, but indeed they are among the most beautiful places on earth. The caves are home to fruit eating bats and swiftlets. Packed Lunch + Back late evening + dinner + rest. (This is a guided activity involves permits) We might also spread turtle sighting activity late night as well.

Day 6: Diglipur - Port Blair via RANGAT Is.

Morning after Breakfast get transferred to Rangat Island. Enjoy the village life during the tour + visit Amkunj Beach/nearby areas at Rangat Island/Rangat market + return back to Port Blair. Stay at Port Blair.

Day 7:  Port Blair – CHIDIYATAPU

Morning at leisure in your Hotel at Port Blair. After lunch proceed to visit Chidiya Tapu (35 kms. from Port Blair) Chidiya Tapu is the southernmost tip of South Andaman for great sunset. The lush green mangroves, forest cover with numerous chirping birds and the sylvan sands make it an ideal picnic site. Overnight stay at Port Blair.

Day 8:  Depart PORT BLAIR 

Depart Port Blair with fond memories of these mesmerizing Islands.

  • Explore North, South & Middle Andaman’s most exotic and untouched islands Baratang, Mayabunder, Diglipur, Ross & Smith Island, Rangat and Chidiyatapu.
  • Scenic marine drive to Corbyn’s Cove Beach (a coconut palm fringed beach)
  • Sound and Light Show at Cellular Jail in Port Blair (wherein the saga of the Indian freedom struggle is brought alive).

  • Minimum of 20 bookings is required for this trail.
  • This is only a quote & no reservations are made until the booking is made online.
  • All services including the hotel and room category are subject to availability at the time of booking.
  • Any additional costs incurred due to natural calamities, political disturbance, accidents or any unforeseen circumstances should be covered by the customer.
  • The vehicle used will be exclusive for that group but will not be at their disposal. It will be as per contract & will change sector wise. Extra charges are applicable for the vehicle used apart from the itinerary.
  • Tour Itinerary will be advised to you by our Team leader after arrival. Tour Itinerary may be shuffled without prior notice because of holidays, inclement weather conditions etc. However all the sightseeing spots mentioned in the itinerary will be covered.
  • As the vehicle & drivers may keep changing, we request you to take diligent care of your personal belongings throughout the tour.
  • Our agency is not responsible for any Delay / Postponement / Cancellation of Flights and Ferry’s.
  • Due to inclement weather conditions that may occur at Port Blair, some of the sight-seeing spots can be visited but may not be suitable for snorkeling, due to less or nil transparency of water. At some other spots, live coral which can be viewed from a glass bottom boat could be affected owing to rain or overcast weather. Light & Sound Show conducted in an open-air amphi-theatre in the Cellular Jail too, is totally dependent on weather conditions.
  • There will be no refund of any unutilized service in part or in full, what so ever may be the reason.

Point to be noted while travelling to Andaman

  • In Andaman mobile networks are BSNL, AIRTEL & VODAFONE and no other networks are supported.
  • All foreign nationals and Indians staying abroad holding passport of different countries (PIO/OCI) needs to register themselves on arrival on Port Blair Airport (Emigration) which should have valid India visa or obtain RAP - Restricted Area Permit, which is valid for 30 days of stay in Andaman’s.

Cancellation Policy
  • For cancellation received for 30 days or more – 100% refund; 15 days or more – 50% refund; Less than 15 days in advance of arrival – no refund.
  • No refund for cancellations will be entertained for/on booking made for 10th December 2017 to 20th January -2018.
  • 3 % Processing fees would be charged over and above the cancellation charge mentioned above.
